Minutes from NLLOA Board
Meeting
February 19, 2004
Meeting was started by Kent Conner at 7 pm.
First item of business was discussion of the positions available and who among the new board would be filling the positions. Trish Hightower said she would remain the treasurer until a new one could be filled. Bob Redoutey accepted the position of Secretary, Ed Markovitz said he would be able to fill the Vice President position and Debbie Purcell would like to fill the position of roads. Kent Conner will be the President for NLLOA for 2004.
Addresses, phone number, and email addresses were exchanged.
Discussions followed in finding additional board members to fill the empty positions.
Trish asked that the new secretary type up a letter that showed the new officers for the bank account. She also mentioned that Lisa had the previous secretary material and to get a hold of her to receive the previous information.
Discussions were made as to a permanent meeting night every month. It was decided at the time that the 3rd Thursday would work for everybody.
Ed discussed a plan for putting a flier together for increasing membership in NLLOA. It would list benefits for joining.
The newsletter was discussed and some basic information on how it is mailed, using the tax rolls for the addressing. In trying to control costs it was discussed to focus more on the web site for information, and mailing the newsletter out to only paid NLLOA members. Members with email addresses would also receive a notice that the newest newsletter was available on the web site, www.north-lake.org.
The cost of the overhead light at 3405 and 2338 was discussed as well as the possibility of additional lights at the major intersections into the subdivision. No actions were taken at this time.
Kent asked that committee reports be available for the monthly meeting and for the newsletter, which should be published 4 times during the year.
Discussions were made as to the location of NLLOA signs and bumper stickers.
